The conference will be organized by the Magnetic Fluid Division of the Heat and Mass Transfer Society of Taiwan and co-organized by Japan Society of Magnetic Fluid Research with National Cheng Kung University and Chung Yuan Christian University, following up a series of conferences that have been held every year or every two years since the first conference held in National Chung-Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan in 2011.

The main objective of the conference is to exchange the research findings in the field of magnetic fluids regarding their chemistry, physical and magnetic properties, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer and surface phenomena in the contact of academic as well as industry oriented engineering and biomedical applications. The conference will include invited presentations and oral/poster presentations. Some selected papers will be recommended to peer-reviewed international journals indexed in EI Compendex, SCOPUS, SCIE, and/or ESCI.
