教學目標： 本課程主要介紹求解偏微分方程的數值方法，包含Gauss-Seidel、Successive Over-Relaxation (SOR)、Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI)、Forward Time Central Space (FTCS)、Crank-Nicolson (CN)、Central Time Central Space (CTCS)及Method of Characteristics (MOC)等，目的在學習如何實際地有效應用至工程問題。期使學生們藉由本課程培養數值技巧，離開學校更可應用所學到相關領域，以提升國內計算科學的分析和應用能力。 This course is intended to serve as an introduction to numerical methods of solving partial differential equations. These methods include the Gauss-Seidel, the Successive Over-Relaxation (SOR), the Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI), the Forward Time Central Space (FTCS), the Crank-Nicolson (CN), the Central Time Central Space (CTCS), the Method of Characteristics (MOC), etc. It is oriented toward learning how to apply numerical methods effectively in practice. Emphasis is thus put on the engineering application aspects. Hope students are able to possess numerical techniques with the help of this course and able to apply what they have learned to various fields, thus enhancing the analysis and application capabilities of domestic mathematics and computing science. |
